Pizza from Uno's in South Portland

Veggie Flatbread on Wheat Crust and BBQ Flatbread on Traditional Crust from Pizzeria Unos' in South Portland. $14

Bern's Take: Veggie-3 stars. Lots of vegetables but bland on taste. 2 out of 5 on BBQ. Not my fav kind anyways.

Casey's Take: 3 out of 5 stars for the veggie, 2 out of 5 for the BBQ chicken. Veggie was loaded and tasty and toppings on BBQ chicken were hard to find.

Picture of the Week

Pizza from Lisbon House of Pizza

Mexican Pizza from Lisbon House of Pizza. $17. Salsa, Peppers, Onion, Tomato, Olives, Jalapenos, Hamburger

Bern's Take: 4 and a half stars. Amazing and YUMMY. Spicy but not over spicy.

Casey's Take: 4 and a half stars out of 5. Only a half-point deduction because my nose is still running a half hour after eating the pizza and my eyebrows are still sweating. Jalapenos added a nice spicy tang. Yum.

Pizza from Lisbon House of Pizza

BBQ Chicken Pizza from Lisbon House of Pizza in Lisbon Falls. $16.

Casey's Take: 5 out of 5 stars. Pizza was perfect. Sauce was tangy and had the perfect amount. Chicken was grilled, not breaded/fried like many other pizza joints. LHOP is consistently awesome...

The Bets....

3500 calories in a pounds. Casey said yes, Bern said no. Casey won $1.

The band, Sweet, sang Ballroom Blitz. Casey said no. Bern said yes. Bern won $1.

Pizza from Sam's

Hawaiian Pizza from Sam's Italian Restaurant. On sale for about $13 (normally around $16). Sam's Hawaiian pizza has onions, green peppers, and mushrooms in addition to ham and pineapples.

Bern's Take: 2.5. Crust was thin and the pizza was floppy. It was bland. BLUCKY.

Casey's Take: 2.5 out of 5 stars. Crust is too thin, not enough sauce, and the large pizza is the smallest (14") of all the large pizzas in the area (and probably the worst value). Even with the $3-off promotion, the pizza still seemed overpriced. I'd say Sam's pizza is "just okay," but not better than your average pizza.

Bern's Take: 4 and a half stars. Thick crust, lots of cheese and toppings. Delicious hot and the next day! YUMMMMMMMMMM!

Casey's Take: 5 out of 5 stars. Perfect crust, lots of toppings, tasty sauce. LHOP is consistently awesome.

We live together, no joke.

Pizza from Miller's Variety

Half Pepperoni/Bacon, Half Hamburg from Miller's Variety in Lisbon Falls. $12.

Casey's Take: 2.5 out of 5 stars

Crust was soggy in the middle. Sauce had too much garlic (garlic salt?). Plenty of cheese, the toppings were tasty, and it was cooked just right, but their pizza normally tastes better than this.

Bern's Take: 2 and a half stars.Too much cheese, not very tasty. BLUCKY. That's my new word.

The Bet: Rampage vs. Sugar

Rampage Jackson vs. Sugar Evans. UFC 114.

Bern said Rampage. Casey said Sugar.

Casey won $1.
